"Love Dare" in my life's perspective

Everything that I will write in here it's how God has been working in my heart through this tool or I will say, book. I thank God for His word and the people who uses His word with knowledge to teach and help me grow throughout this journey. I have learned many things and I know He will show me many more things as I keep walking with Him with persistence. I pray to God for those who also need help in their marriage. There are many people, who are almost hanging their boxing gloves from bad choices in their relationship with their loved one and have no idea what to do, and there are others who projects their marriage as a perfectly fine relationship with their loved one, but when they are alone with each other it's a different story. I thought my marriage was the best until I start reading Love Dare, together with the Bible, let me tell you, I had no idea how bad I was doing.

We born with a conscious and we use it continuously in every decision we make. Most of the time, by my experiences, I have done many things in my marriage that I though it was right, but for my wife was totally not right at all. I overlooked many signs that was telling me to stop abusing other priorities instead of be present for the important ones. See, we born not knowing anything, we start from zero, same as marriage, we born in a new relationship with someone new in our lives and we grow together in a fantasy that everything is possible and we can make it with no problems and no difficulties and the reality is that we fall in our own selfishness. At this point we find 2 doors, one goes to live the way I want and the other goes to establish a healthy relationship with your loved one. This is how love can come to be your own decision and it can rule your house, not only with the wife or husband, but with the rest of the family.

We all want an easy way to do things, but the easy things can be unsatisfactory, I am talking about not confronting the problem and turning away from it. Think about an army's front line, they are prepared for battle, trained to not turn back and to defend their values. They will do their best to push forward to conclude with their objective. Are you prepared and looking forward to manage the problems in your marriage. Are you conscious that you have to change some things in your life like, priorities, as an example? In our house, as man and woman, have to be ready for the battle. We will have many problems like economic, work related, stress, and many, many...many more. I pray that you can have time with your family to watch the movie Fireproof and read Love Dare after. I say to watch the movie first so you can have an understanding of the book. They will show you real life problems and then how it ends when we do things in love. The book have steps to help us understand love. Please, take the time to do it and make sure you don't stop following those steps, because if you do stop, you will not have the benefits of it, and like war, will fall back. Be proud of what you have and fight for it.

“Love is not a fight, but is something worth fighting for”. - Warren Barfield

1 Corinthians 13:1-13
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
